Heel pain and spurs (sever’s disease and plantar fasciitis)

Heel pain can be caused by a number of underlying issues in your feet such as plantar fasciitis. Plantar Fasciitis is caused by the inflammation of the tissue at the bottom of your heel. It is not uncommon that a spur will also develop in this same area, however, the pain is caused by the inflammation of the plantar fascia, and not the spur itself.
